Picture: Street Art

A mural by The London Police is the current hot topic in Amsterdam. About a year ago this beautiful piece of street art was made by tlp to brighten up a bland wall on the corner of Prinsengracht and Tuinstraat in the historic center of the city. A special council that guards over the city center to preserve its beauty and authenticity is debating whether or not the mural should be removed.

In our eyes this mural adds more to this particular corner than it takes away. It’s visually attractive and it adds some present-day relevance. The combination of new on old makes for a stunning result that will become something worthy of preserving by itself.
