A couple days ago we came across this hyperlapse video of Amsterdam. It was filmed in november and december when the annual Amsterdam Light Festival was already underway so there’s some great footage of that in the video as well.
We recommend you watch this in HD on full screen.
Yet another year has come to an end and what a year it has been. However good 2013 has been we can feel that 2014 is going to be an even better one. Let’s make it our best one yet. See you there!
In the good ol’ south of Amsterdam you’ll find one of the best shops to get your sushi.
In the 70s and 80s Amsterdam had quite a large influx of Japanese people as their big electronics, automotive and photographic equipment makers made their way to Europe so in 1974 Meidi-Ya opened its doors in Amsterdam as their only overseas location. At Meidi-Ya you can find much more than just sushi and this is actually a proper little Japanese supermarket. They have everything from dumplings, ice-cream, crispy seaweed sheets and other sushi paraphernalia to your hard to find japanese drinks and candy.
